Metta’s XL scarves measure a generous 150 x 275cm, the perfect amount to wrap around yourself and keep you snuggly in the colder months. The XL scarf can also double as a bed throw, wrap or even an impromptu picnic blanket. Made from a rustic linen gauze, this scarf has the most beautiful texture and weight that gets softer with every use.

Our over-dyed fabrics are batch dyed, we work closely with our local dyers to maintain consistency, though variations and uneven colours can be expected and often occur. We believe this makes each piece unique. The Sandstone is also less saturated in colour. 

Please be aware that over-dying our scarves causes shrinkage and therefore will be slightly smaller in size than the Natural, un-dyed scarves.

Warm machine wash

Our linen styles are made from premium European linen (grown in France, Belgium & the Netherlands), pre-washed, and ready to wear on arrival. Some are lightly pressed - within no time the fabric will soften with wear, crinkles and wrinkles will come naturally, giving it that stunning unironed look that we have all come to love. If you would like to speed up this process, we recommend popping it in the washing machine, following the washing instructions found on your garments care label, and skipping any ironing.
